Chamalee Semasinghe is a qualified Attorney-at-Law, Registered Company Secretary, Registered IP Agent, and Notary Public licensed to practice in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She specializes in corporate law, intellectual property, tax, and contract law. After graduating with an LL.B. from the University of Colombo, she began her career as an attorney, focusing on civil law and contract litigation. 

Chamalee later founded her own corporate legal consulting firm, Counselit, where she supports local and foreign startups, creators, e-commerce businesses, and small to mid-sized companies with company incorporation, BOI registration, trademark, copyright, and patent registration, drafting and negotiating commercial & technology contracts, tax planning and ongoing compliance with multi-state legal requirements in the global marketplace.
